As a rookie pro in '08-'09, Brett had a stellar season. He scored his first Pro-class podium in 2/07 at the Brainerd, MN, Nat'l. Two weeks later earned his first Pro victory. At the end of the season, he had 4 podiums, including an impressive three wins. He finished 2nd in Pro Open points and 10th in Pro Stock. With that performance, he was named the '09 Nat'l series Rookie of the Year.
