Erik Roner

Freeskier / BASE Jumper

If you saw TGR's Anomaly, you know Eric Roner. In one of the most memorable filmed segments ever, he straightlines a peak near Jackson Hole, then proceeds to head straight off a 600-foot cliff, throw a backflip, and finally pop his BASE chute. An excellent big-mountain skier in the mold of Shane McConkey, Erik grew up in Northern California and honed his craft in Tahoe. Now a resdient of Utah, Roner travels the world every winter creating film segments for Teton Gravity Research. During the off-season, he works as a graphic designer. Erik has been known to jump off or out of anything he can find and is one of the most exciting athletes in the ski world today.
