Jeret Peterson

Born in Boise Idaho, the 26-year-old Jeret Peterson has been skiing devotedly since age 7. All the early hard work paid off when he became the youngest aerialist ever to make the U.S. Ski Team at just 16-years-old. Nicknamed "Speedy" after the MTV cartoon Speedy Racer, Jeret has his own line of Speedy gear that can be purchased on his website. Jeret started winning at a young age. Major accomplishments in youth competitions include the 1999 National Junior Aerials Title and the 2001 Freestyle Junior Skier of the Year, as selected by Skier Racing. Jeret earned a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team before the age of 20 and has been inducted into the 1997 Youth Hall of Fame in Boise Idaho.
