I began skiing at the age of five and immediately knew that I wanted to be a professional skier! Racing on the Buck Ski Team in Minnesota ski team until the age of 16, I then moved to Colorado where I competed in the Junior Olympics. During that time, I was also introduced into Big Mountain skiing – a new movement emerging in this line of sports where activities became more aggressive and carried a higher level of danger.
With the recent explosion of action sports into the mainstream, the opportunity came to eventually switch to extreme skiing and skier cross competitions. As my skiing and repertoire of tricks improved, opportunities to appear in ski movies evolved and a move to training in Utah at the Olympic Park proved inevitable as “world champion” became a more attainable dream.
This year is an ideal time to take part in supporting me as I am coming off my most successful season ever. The highlight came when I emerged to the top winning the 2008 World Freeskiing Championships in Alaska. This past year has helped encourage me and if I dare say has made me more enthusiastic than ever before, and I am sure with my hard work and your support I can make this up coming season even better
What Kent says about ALINE
""Today I put Alines in my boot and they felt awesome. My toe didn't hurt for the first time in months and I got 5th!""
