Micah Black

Although first sponsored by Smith in 1992 as a snowboarder, Micah Black was born to ski. With his father a major ski figure in the early 60s and the rest of his family very ingrained into the sport, Micah grew up with the sport in his blood, starting at age 3. Since then, Micah has skied all over the world, becoming internationally reknown as one of the sports most exciting athletes. Micah has starred in various ski films and is accredited with helping TGR get off the ground in the early 90s, on their way to becoming the biggest named in ski movies today. When not skiing, Micah enjoys rocking out on the drums with his good friend, Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee.
