Sage Cattabriga-Alosa grew up in Alta, Wyoming. It didn't take long for his talents and energy to get him noticed, and today Sage is one of the best-known skiers in the ski-film industry. In 2003, he was voted Powder Magazine Video Awards Breakthrough Performer. In 2004 he won Best Male Performance from Powder magazine's video awards, followed by Powder Magazine reader poll, Best Male Skier, 3rd place award in 2005. He films segments for numerous production companies, such as Teton Gravity Research and Volume video magazine, specializing in back country gap jumps, skiing big mountain lines and stylishly combining tricks with bigtime cliff drops. Sage is greatly respected for his humble demeanor and unbelievable lines.
