Why Max Races?

 

Simply put, we know how to put on a great race! Please peruse the Testimonials from 2007 races for participant comments.

 

Our focus is on a few great sites and a small mix of events.  We believe that focused athletes (and Race Directors) are successful ones.  Here are a few things we'll do to make sure our focus pays off for you:

Location is King

 

Our races are held in excellent locations – easy to access, in awesome communities, with well laid-out courses and transition areas.  The venue is guaranteed to impress friends, sponsors and you!  This is why we only hold a handful of races each year - these types of locations are hard to find!

Great Organization

People- we have an outstanding core team of people, who stay focused on their main role, making the race run extremely well.  There are dedicated individuals in charge of each of the key race elements – swim, bike, run, transition, traffic, awards, volunteers, food, aid and sponsors.  And, we've done races in over 23 states as a benchmark.

Gear – state of the art bike racks, great music and an excellent timing system increase race enjoyment.

The Athlete Packet – race preparation, race details, race day schedules, award details, logistics, etc. are covered in a robust AP.

Triathlete Advisory Panel - All Max races use an Advisory Panel of Triathletes who participated in the race to critique the course and the event!  This valuable feedback helps hone the event year after year - after all, it's your race!

Event Organizer Certified - Our race directors went through a 9-step certification program conducted by an independent company to test their bandwidth and hone their event-organization skills.

Numerous Awards and Sponsor Giveaways

 

It's fun to receive well-deserved accolades. So, awards go to numerous divisions, fastest times and many first time triathletes. Generous Sponsor gifts (e.g. a wetsuit at every race, Kinetic Bike Trainer, iPods, etc.) help finish the event on a fun note.

Max has fun providing great take-aways, other then the personal satisfaction of completing a great race. So, if there were some type of Oscars for goodie bags, we certainly would be on the nomination list!

If you ever tried to take an action photo, you'll know why we hired a professional sports photographer! It's just one more way to make the sense of accomplishment last and to share the day with friends and family members.

Max-Out Race Series

 

Once you've done three or more of our races, you qualify for the Race Series Awards Program. There aren't enough things you can bank on in sports, but Max Performance races will be one of them.
