An 11 time X-Games Medalist (7 Gold), Bucky Lasek is one of the most recognizable names in the skateboarding world today. After picking up a skateboard at age 12, Bucky was competing on an amateur level a year later and on a professional level by the time he was 17. By his mid-20s, Bucky was establishing himself as the world's most renowned vert skater. He won his first X-Games Gold medal in 1999 in the vert competition, repeating in 2000. In 2003, he won three X-Games gold medals, two during Summer X and one during Global X. Now 36-years-old, Bucky refuses to step off the podium, capturing yet another gold recently in vert at X-Games 12. Bucky is a playable character in the first 5 games in the Tony Hawk video game series. He currently resides in California, with his wife and two daughters.
